Community Farming Evening
Time & Location
About the Event
We grow food with community, for community. Our 1 acre farm grows nourishing, sustainable produce for state-funded preschools in North County San Diego as well as for the local community where we are located. We provide a safe green space for the community, sustainably- and ethically- grown produce, enrichment after-school programs for local youth, and training for others interested in botany, horticulture, and farming. We invite farmers of all ages, skills, backgrounds and abilities to join us at the farm. Stay for as little or as long as you would like. We look forward to farming with you!
Please wear closed-toed shoes, clothes you don't mind getting dirty and a reusuable water bottle. Long pants and a hat is highly recommended. Each individual will need to sign a waiver before participating. Those under 18 will need to have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian (this can be done on-site) and those under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult. If you would like to bring a group of more than 5, please contact us at email@example.com.
