About the Event
These four, fun and easy workshops offer lecture and hands-on on how to grow a healthy and productive garden! All workshops are taught by UCCE Master Gardeners of San Diego County. Cost for class funds scholarships to make this opportunity accessible to everyone.
Topics include: Garden planning, healthy soil, composting, seed starting, cool and warm season vegetables, transplanting, beneficial insects and pest management, appropriate water use, harvesting and more.
Everyone is welcome! Backyard gardeners, new community gardeners, and school teachers will benefit from this workshop.
Dates: April 27th, May 4th, May 11th, May 18th (Saturdays)
Time: 12:00 pm (noon) - 3:00 pm
